Hi everyone!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving week! Our kids soaked up every minute with cousins, out-of-town friends, and an almost comical amount of dessert and sugar. Watching the holidays through their eyes—tiny hands tasting all the pies, big smiles during family games, giggles with their relatives —has given us a whole new layer of appreciation and gratitude for this season.

Our New Product: Digital Kids Habit Tracker & Rewards Chart

We are so excited to share a new digital product that we are launching for parents of young kids (ages 3-11): Traveling with Tots - Habit Tracker & Rewards Chart.

As our family has settled into new routines, we’ve been thinking a lot about how to build simple, sustainable habits into our kids’ days—both to foster their independence and confidence, and to keep our household systems running a bit more smoothly. We’ve tried plenty of reward charts over the years, and eventually pulled together our favorite elements (plus a few hard-earned lessons from having four kids!) to create our own digital version. We use it with our family every day and are have seen a positive impact on our kids.

Here’s how it works:

  • Create your child’s profile: Add each child so they have their own space and goals.

  • Add their habits: Choose from pre-set habits (chores, hygiene, learning, social, exercise, etc.) or customize your own to fit your family.

  • Pick a weekly reward: Decide on a fun reward together—like a one-on-one date, family movie night, or weekly allowance—and set how many stars they need to earn it.

  • Log habits & earn stars: Each time you track a completed habit, your child earns a star and can see their progress toward the reward.

  • Claim the reward: Once they hit their star goal, they redeem their reward—building consistency, confidence, and independence.

  • Repeat each week: The chart resets weekly, helping those habits become part of your family’s routine over time.

As a bonus, the rewards you choose together create more shared memories and intentional family time. Check out the tool here!

Visiting Christmas Markets with Kids

Planning to visit Christmas markets this holiday season with your little ones? Previously, we explored the dreamiest markets in Zurich, Colmar, and Luxembourg—twinkly lights, hot chocolate, carousels, and so many kid-friendly moments that made winter feel truly magical. If you’re curious how we fit three destinations into one week with young kids, you can peek at our exact itinerary here.

If you’re still deciding where to go (or wondering how to make any Christmas market trip work with toddlers in tow), I’ve put together a guide with packing tips, stroller vs. carrier advice, warming-up spots, and more—find it here.
